Symbioflor 1 is generally well tolerated. At the beginning of treatment, meteorism, flatulence and upset stomach may occur. These symptoms disappear again. Possibly use a bit lower dose.
Warning
Never start therapy only with Symbioflor 1.

Adults:
Initial phase:
Pro-Symbioflor: Start with 2 x 5 drops a day and increase dropwise to 2 x 20 drops a day for 1 month
Phase I:
Symbioflor 1: 2 x 20 drops a day for 2 months (Diseases of the Respiratory additional 2 x 2 drops in each nostril)
Phase 2:
Symbioflor 1: 2 x 20 drops a day for 2 months (Diseases of the Respiratory additional 2 x 2 drops in each nostril)
Symbioflor 2 (simultaneously with Symbioflor 1): Start with 2 x 5 drops a day and increase dropwise to 2 x 20 drops a day.
Children:
Phase I:
Symbioflor 1: 2 x 20 drops a day for 2 months (Diseases of the Respiratory additional 2 x 2 drops in each nostril)
Phase 2:
Symbioflor 1: 2 x 20 drops a day for 2 months (Diseases of the Respiratory additional 2 x 2 drops in each nostril)
Symbioflor 2 (simultaneously with Symbioflor 1): 1 x 10 drops a day for 2 months.

Ingredients Symbioflor 1
Bacteria culture (1,0 ml) containing Enterococcus faecalis bacteria (DSM 16440, cells and autolysate) equialent to 1,5 to 4,5 x 107 living cells.
Other ingredients: lactose monohydrate, cystine, sodium carbonate decahydrate, sodium chloride, magnesium sulfate heptahydrate, potassium chloride, calcium chloride dihydrate, magnesium chloride hexahydrate, purified water and nutrient solution (peptone from casein, yeast extract, sodium chloride, glucose monohydrate, purified water).
